Using iPads and Notability

During sessions you can use your Apple Pencil to take notes or draw diagrams in Notability

How to Take iPad Notes

  1. During sessions you can use your Apple Pencil to take notes or draw diagrams in Notability
  2. Open the app and click the pencil icon in the bottom right of the page to create a new note
  3. Title the note with the client’s name, the date of the appointment, and the session number (ie. Letitia McVey12 Jan 2023 #3)
  4. You can use the free handwriting or the T icon for handwriting to convert into typing (be conscious that handwriting must be legible under APS Record Keeping Guidelines). For more information on how to convert handwriting to text, see here.
  5. To export the notes to One Drive after the session, click the upload button and choose the One Drive option and save
  6. iPads should be set up to send notes to this folder, and they can be uploaded as an attachment to session notes in Power Diary
