Ethics & Privacy

As a psychology clinic, we are not only helped by our own clinic policies and procedures, but also by AHPRA's Standards of Practice. Regardless of your level of registration, we would expect that you familiarise yourself with the Code of Ethics as our guiding principals and check with management if you feel any further ethical dilemmas arise that you would like to discuss.

Therapy House wishes to adhere to the ethos of continual improvement, and as such our own personal and professional practices reflect highly in the work that we do for our clients! This means we like to raise issues and possible improvements within our team meetings to change for the better.

Client Privacy

At Therapy House, we want to take client privacy seriously. This means we protect client privacy and minimise the places or time that identifying information is used. This may include only sharing email communications with necessary parties, password protecting documents and de-identifying documents you might share with colleagues. This is outlined more in our policies.
